Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa – Discover the Capital

Day 2: Fly to Lalibela – Explore the First Group of Rock-Hewn Churches

  1. Morning flight to Lalibela, Ethiopia’s New Jerusalem.
  2. Visit the first group of rock-hewn churches(UNESCO World Heritage Site), including Bete Medhane Alem and Bete Maryam.
  3. Discover the famous Bete Giyorgis (St. George’s Church), carved in the shape of a cross.
  4. Optional evening coffee ceremonywith locals.
  5. Overnight in Lalibela.

Day 3: Explore More of Lalibela & Fly Back to Addis Ababa

  1. Visit the second group of rock-hewn churches, featuring interconnected tunnels and chapels.
  2. Excursion to Yemrehanna Kristos, a hidden cave church inside a rock overhang.
  3. Afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa.

Day 4: Drive to Arba Minch – The Scenic Rift Valley

  1. Early morning drive to Arba Minch(7–8 hours).

Day 5

Day 8: Drive to Konso – The Land of Terraces

  1. Scenic drive (5–6 hours)to Konso, Ethiopia’s first UNESCO-listed cultural landscape.

Day 9: Return to Addis Ababa – Farewell Dinner

  1. Drive back to Addis Ababa(7–8 hours), with scenic stops along the way.
