Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa – City Tour

  1. Welcome at Bole International Airport
  2. Visit the National Museum (home of Lucy – 3.2-million-year-old fossil)
  3. Explore the Holy Trinity Cathedral
  4. Drive to Entoto Hills for panoramic city views
  5. Overnight in Addis Ababa

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar (Flight ~1 hr)

  1. Morning flight to Bahir Dar
  2. Boat trip on Lake Tana:
  3. Visit island monasteries(Ura Kidane Mehret & Azwa Maryam)
  4. Afternoon excursion to Blue Nile Falls (Tis Issat)
  5. Optional sunset views from Bezawit Hill
  6. Overnight in Bahir Dar

Day 3: Bahir Dar – Gondar (Drive ~3 hrs)

  1. Drive to Gondar, the “Camelot of Africa”

Day 4: Gondar – Simien Mountains National Park (Drive ~3 hrs)

  2. Flight back to Addis Ababa

  5. Evening transfer to Bole International Airport for departure
