Day 1

Day 1: Addis Ababa – Yabelo

  1. Drive from Addis Ababa (~8 hours) via Hawassa & Dilla.
  2. Stop at Tutu Fella Stelae Field, an ancient archaeological site.
  3. Visit Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary for a short nature walk.
  4. Overnight: Yabelo Motel.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Borana National Park

  1. Morning game drive—spot elephants, buffalos, lions & zebras.
  2. Visit Soda Salt Lake, a scenic flamingo-filled lake.
  3. Picnic lunch in the park.
  4. Afternoon safari drive—see warthogs, kudu & antelopes.
  5. Visit a Borana nomadic village & the famous singing wells.
  6. Overnight: Yabelo Motel.

Day 3: Yabelo – Addis Ababa

  1. Short morning game drive.
  2. Return drive to Addis Ababa (~8 hours).
